Our Approach
Over the years, our approach to knowledge translation has evolved to integrate each community partner’s priorities and values throughout the research process. We conduct this work in a way that amplifies the relationship between academia, public health decision-makers, and community members. By creating these meaningful partnerships, we gain the strength of an interdisciplinary research team who bring multiple perspectives to the table.
The development of research projects with this lens emphasizes a participant-informed design process and the creation of questions and surveys accessible to these participants.
